TOGETHER / APART
Welcome to this year’s film festival. We all love the big screen, maybe even more now it’s so long since we’ve seen one. And while this year is different, we can still have a lot of fun and celebrate cinema together.

Let these stories take you on a journey around the world – it will be a weekend with plenty to talk about.
WATCH PARTIESThis is the perfect opportunity to get together with your friends (near and far), book groups, choirs or distant cousins to do the festival “together / apart” with a virtual watch party (only for friends in the UK, as films aren’t available internationally). Like to talk during the film? This is your chance without being sshhhed! Get a friend on the phone and talk away from start to finish. Check out the programme – do the whole festival or choose just one film. Stock up with popcorn, watch the films and then Zoom coffee/dinner/ drink afterwards. You can even stay in your pyjamas.
VIRTUAL FOYERWant to meet new friends? Bump into familiar faces? Join us in the ‘Virtual Foyer’. Open on Saturday 4–5pm and Sunday 3–4pm, pop in to have a chat about what you’ve seen. This is the Zoom link - click to join during those times.
WHEN YOU CAN WATCHAny time, day or night, from 6am Friday 19 until 11.59pm Sunday 21 March. We’ve put together a “suggested programme” to fit in as many films as you can while still sleeping and eating, but you’re free to roam in the digital universe as you please.
Q&AsThere are also Q&A sessions to spark even deeper conversations – when the Q&A says “live” it means you can watch in real time and ask questions.
