Merab, the talented lead dancer in a traditional Georgian dance troupe, struggles with its punishing regime and life in the ultra-conservative orthodox society of Tbilisi. The arrival of rebellious newcomer Irakli challenges him in every way, especially when their rivalry turns into something much more dangerous. Levan Gelbakhian is spellbinding as the sensitive and passionate Merab, who must decide who he is and how he is going to live his life.
