Volunteer Sign-Up Form

    Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Hebden Bridge Film Festival 2026! There are many different ways to get involved. 

    POSTCARD & POSTER DISTRIBUTION
    You can help us spread the word by putting out postcards and programmes in cafes, stations, libraries - everywhere really.
    It's a great chance to get out and about and support the festival. We will need people from November 2025 right up to the festival.  

    USHERING
    There are lots of ushering spots throughout the weekend. You'll be doing a variety of tasks such as checking tickets and passes on the door, counting people in, managing the queue, or handing out and collecting voting slips.

    FESTIVAL DESK AND TICKETING 
    This is needed for a few days before and throughout the festival, you will be the face of the festival and a vital information source.  A two hour training session is needed to be able to do the festival desk.

    FESTIVAL VENUE SET UP AND  HELP WITH CELEBRATIONS
    We'll need some help for the programme launch on March 6 at the Town Hall, getting the Trades Hall ready for the weekend Friday 20,  at the opening and closing night parties, and taking down posters and banners on Monday 23 March. Some of this this might be quite physical work and we really appreciate help!  

    PROOF READING
    We need proof readers for our programme and the website during the last week of January and the first week of February - if you like doing this we would love to hear from you!

    OTHER THINGS
